AB 141: What’s Your Economic Moat?

October 26, 2017

Christopher Tsai, President and Chief Investment Officer of Tsai Capital Corporation, is available to discuss his investment philosophy and why he focuses on: the Asian middle class, clean water and air, and healthcare in the U.S. He’d also be happy to discuss the top companies that he invests in.

Tsai Capital Corporation, founded in 1997, is a global equity manager headquartered in New York City with a disciplined and consistent approach to managing investment portfolios. Christopher has quite a unique personal story to tell which helped lead him to where he is today. His roots in finance go far back as his grandmother was the only woman at the bustling Shanghai Stock Exchange during World War II, where she traded stocks, bonds, gold, and silver. He began his career in finance at the young age of 11, working for his father, distinguished financier, fund manager, and philanthropist Gerald Tsai, analyzing investment opportunities for the Tsai family and family foundation.

Tsai Capital Growth Equity Strategy is the firm’s longest running strategy. It is a separately managed accounts (SMA) product that adheres to a long-only, global, large-cap equity approach. The strategy has produced significant long-term outperformance relative to the S&P 500 Index since the inception of the composite on January 1, 2000. This episode is sponsored by Liberty Tax.
